Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Land Of Hope & Dreams American Tour (2026)

 Ayer día 17 de febrero, Bruce Springsteen, anunció un nuevo Tour americano para esta primavera. Con el nombre de Land Of Hope And Dreams American Tour, la gira comenzará el próximo 30 de marzo en la ciudad de Mineapolis y terminará el 27 de mayo en Washington DC. En total serán 20 shows, al menos los confirmados hasta ahora. Las entradas se podrán comprar a partir del 20 de febrero. De momento, no se sabe si el tour saltará a Europa en verano o se reducirá sólo a actuaciones en Estados Unidos, estaremos atentos a las noticias.

Streets Of Minneapolis de Bruce Springsteen (2026)

 Bruce ha publicado un nuevo tema a raíz de los disturbios acaecidos en la ciudad de Minneapolis por la muerte de dos personas a manos de la ICE, la agencia federal de inmigración americana. La canción, titulada Streets Of Minneapolis,  la escribió y grabó en cuatro días. Este tema se une al que dio a conocer en el 2001, American Skin (41 shots) que, posteriormente, se publicó en una versión de estudio en el álbum del 2014 High Hopes que describía la muerte de un inmigrante de color por disparos de  la policía de Nueva York que le valió la crítica por parte del departamento de policía de la ciudad. En 1980 el artista ya participó en los conciertos No Nukes en los que puso la condición de que no se politizara su participación. Desde entonces, su postura ha ido variando y comprometiéndose cada vez más con ideas políticas concretas. No sé si es bueno o no que lo haga pues entiendo que el arte está por encima de las ideas o posturas políticas personales del artista; pero, por otra parte,  sus ideas y convicciones son parte esencial de su libertad individual e inviolable por lo que es libre de darlas a conocer si quiere.. Polémicas aparte, aquí os dejo la canción con subtítulos en español para que podáis juzgar vosotros mismos.
