Ayer sábado día 27 de julio se celebró en el estadio Wembley de Londres el segundo y último concierto de Bruce Springsteen en la capital británica. Con este concierto se cerraba la gira europea 2024. La gira de Bruce Springsteen por España terminó el pasado sábado 22 de junio con el segundo concierto en el Estadi Olimpic de Barcelona. Fue un show espectacular en el que cambiaron algunos temas con respecto al concierto de día 20. El recital comenzó pasadas la 9 y 10 de la noche con My Love Will Not Let You Down y siguió con Lonesome Day, al contrario que en el concierto del jueves que empezó con Lonesome Day y siguió con My Love Will Not Let You Down. Las novedades con respecto al anterior fueron: Darlington County, Working On The Highway, Atlantic City, Reason To Believe, Spirit in The Night, lamaravillosa Racing In The Street y en los bises Glory Days. El sonido mejoró con respecto a la actuación del jueves 20 y la entrega de Bruce y la banda fue total regalando un tema más en los bises, Glory Days. El show acabó pasadas las 12 y 15 de la noche. Ha pasado algo más de un año desde que Bruce realizará sus dos conciertos en Barcelona. Ayer jueves Springsteen volvió a subirse al escenario del Estadi Olimpic para seguir demostrando que, a pesar de los años y de sus problemas recientes con la voz, sigue siendo un auténtico coloso del espectáculo. El concierto empezó con diez minutos de retraso y acabó pasadas las 12 de la noche ofreciendo un espectáculo de tres horas sin descanso. Comenzó con Lonesome Day y siguió con la demoledora My Love Will Not Let YouDown. El sonido, al principio del show, no fue perfecto al igual que la voz de Bruce que daba la sensación que tenía que forzarla en los primeros temas. Afortunadamente, a medida que avanzaba el concierto tanto el sonido como la voz del artista fueron mejorando. Resaltaría los temas, Radio Nowhere,Seeds,The Power Of Prayer, My Hometown, The River y I'M On Fire que fue la primera vez que la escuché en directo y no me defraudó en absoluto. Este fue el décimo concierto de Bruce al que asistí y, sin duda, me gustó bastante más que el del año pasado, no por los temas, sino por la actitud y la voz de Bruce que me pareció mucho mejor, a pesar de que, cómo he dicho anteriormente, al principio no lo pareciera. Lo peor fue la vuelta a casa: el metro cerrado a las 12 de la noche, no había manera de encontrar un taxi vacío y la caminata hacía casa hasta vislumbrar alguno lejos de la zona del concierto.

Después de haber suspendido 4 conciertos en la actual gira europea debido a un episodio de afonía, anoche Bruce and The E Street Band dieron el primero de los tres conciertos programados en la capital de España. Con 20 minutos de retraso con respecto a la hora programada, el de New Jersey apareció en el escenario del Civitas Metropolitano para demostrar que aún sigue siendo el jefe. El show comenzó con Lonesome Day y terminó con la habitual I'll See You In My Dreams.

De nuevo otra sorpresa. Los conciertos suspendidos en Marsella, Praga y Milán se celebrarán el año que viene, 2025. Esto ha hecho que algunos nos planteemos si el año próximo habrá nueva gira de BruceSpringsteen & The E Street Band por Europa.
Las nuevas fechas de los conciertos suspendidos en Marsella (Francia) y Praga (República Checa) ya han sido anunciadas y son las siguientes:: el 31 de Mayo de 2025 en el Orange Velodrome de Marsella (Francia) y el 15 de junio de 2025 tendrá lugar el concierto en el Aeropuerto Letnany de Praga (República Checa). Todas las entradas adquiridas para los conciertos suspendidos serán válidas para éstos. Y si se desea el reembolso se realizará a través de los canales de compra originales hasta el 31 de julio de 2024 para el show de Marsella y hasta el 3 de septiembre de 2024 para el de Praga.
Por su parte, los dos conciertos suspendidos en Milán (Italia) en el Estadio de San Siro pasan a celebrarse los días 30 de junio y el 3 de julio del 2025 y serán válidas también las entradas de los conciertos suspendidos. Para aquellos que no puedan asistir a los conciertos podrán solicitar el reembolso de en los canales oficiales de venta hasta el 20 de julio de 2024.
La web oficial de Bruce Springsteen ha anunciado que los conciertos previstos en Praga (República Checa) hoy martes 28 de mayo y los dos previstos en Milán los días 1 y 3 de junio han sido pospuestos por prescripción médica ya que el artista sigue con afonía. En total han sido cuatro los conciertos cancelados siendo el de Marsella (Francia) el pasado 25 de mayo el primero de ellos. La organización ha informado que en pocos días aparecerán las nuevas fechas de estos conciertos suspendidos y que seguirán siendo válidas las entradas ya adquiridas. También se ha notificado que el próximo concierto de Bruce previsto será el del día 12 de junio en Madrid en el Civitas Metropolitano, siendo éste el primero de los tres que ofrecerá en la capital de España, les seguirán los dos conciertos en el Estadi Olimpic de Barcelona: el jueves 20 y el sábado 22 de mayo.
El concierto de Springsteen que estaba previsto para ayer sábado en Marsella (Francia) ha sido aplazado por una afonía del artista minutos antes de comenzar el show. La lluvia y el viento que sufrió en el concierto en Sunderland (Reino Unido) el pasado 22 de mayo le ha pasado factura y, por prescripción médica, ha debido suspender el concierto de Marsella. Esperemos que el próximo concierto previsto para el martes 28 de mayo en Praga se pueda realizar y la gira europea pueda continuar con normalidad. Crucemos los dedos.
