Concierto en Edimburgo (Escocia) 30 de mayo (2023)

 Después de los dos conciertos en Ámsterdam y a la espera de su tercer concierto en los Países Bajos, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band recalaron en el BT Murrayfield Stadium de Edimburgo el pasado jueves 30 de mayo.

Segundo concierto en Ámsterdam (Países Bajos) 27 de mayo (2023)

 El segundo concierto de Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band en el Johan Cruiff Arena de Ámsterdam, fue un poco accidentado. Durante la interpretación del tema Ghosts, Bruce tropezó con uno de los escalones del escenario y cayó al suelo. No se hizo nada y personal de su equipo le ayudaron a levantarse. El propio Springsteen bromeó sobre lo ocurrido.

Primer Concierto en Ámsterdam (Paises Bajos) 25 mayo (2023)

 El primero de los dos conciertos de Ámsterdam y el primero de los tres conciertos que Bruce & The E Street Band ofrecerán en los Países Bajos, tuvo lugar el pasado jueves 25 de mayo en el Johan Cruiff Arena. El setlest list del concierto incluyó una novedad y fue la interpretación, en los bises, del tema Detroit Medley. La lista completa de las canciones que interpretaron esa noche fue la siguiente:

Bruce Springsteen la Grandeza del Rock & Roll en Informe Semanal TVE (1988)

 Con ocasión de la gira española de Bruce Springsteen en 1993, el programa de Televisión Española, Informe Semanal dedicó un reportaje, de algo más de 13 minutos,  al rockero de New Jersey. El programa  se emitió el 8 de mayo e incluía una pequeña entrevista con Springsteen,

Documental Glory Days (1986)

 He descubierto por casualidad este documental sobre Bruce Springsteen que no había visto antes. Empieza con una pequeña biografía y continúa con el Tour de Born in The USA (1984-1985) y llega hasta la publicación en 1986 de la caja de 5 discos,  Live 75-85. La única pega es que, desgraciadamente, acaba con un corte, lo que indica que, seguramente, su metraje es más largo. Cómo documento histórico vale la pena verlo para conocer algunas opiniones interesantes del artista americano.

Exposición Bruce Springsteen 1981 Fotografías de Franscesc Fàbregas (1981)

 Hay tres conciertos míticos que han pasado a formar parte de la historia musical de la ciudad condal: la actuación de The Beatles el 3 de julio de 1965 en la Plaza de Toros Monumental de Barcelona; el primer concierto de The Rolling Stones en España, el 11 de junio de 1976 también en la Plaza de Toros Monumental de Barcelona; y, el tercero, el primer concierto, en territorio español, de Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band en el Palau d' Esports de Montjuïc de Barcelona el 21 de abril de 1981.

En los jardines del Palau Robert de Barcelona y hasta el 14 de mayo, se ha organizado una exposición  del fotógrafo Francesc Fàbregas, que fue contratado por CBS para cubrir el primer concierto de Bruce Springsteen en Barcelona en el viejo Palau d'Esports de Montjuïc al que acudieron 7000 personas, no se llenó,  que tuvieron la fortuna de asistir a uno de los mejores conciertos celebrados en la capital catalana. Las fotografías se acompañan con comentarios de periodistas y artistas asistentes al show. De todos ellos, me gustaría destacar el testimonio del escritor y periodista norteamericano Dave Marsh, amigo de Bruce, que escribía lo siguiente en su libro On Tour 1968-2005: Cuando la banda tocó las primeras notas de Prove it All Night, la multitud se puso en pie de repente y empezó a saltar, a cantar, a gritar, a agitarse compulsivamente. Fue como un delirio colectivo, como si les fuera la vida en cada una de las notas de estas canciones. Nunca he vuelto a ver a un grupo de fans que lo demostrara toda la noche como aquella multitud en 1981, Ni en Barcelona, ni en ninguna parte. Fue el mejor concierto al que he asistido  en mi vida.

Primer Concierto en Dublin (Irlanda), viernes 5 de mayo (2023)

 Ayer viernes debutó Bruce & The E Street Band en el RDS Arena de Dublín ofreciendo el primero de los tres conciertos programados en la capital irlandesa. Ayer se estrenó, en la gira europea,  el tema Land Of Hope and Dreams. El setlist completo fue el siguiente:

Segundo concierto en el Estadi Olimpic de Barcelona 30 de abril (2023)

 Ayer se produjo el segundo y último concierto de Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band en Barcelona. El de ayer se convirtió en el número 53 en España y el número 21 en Barcelona. La tarde comenzó con tormenta, pero ésta terminó antes del inicio del show. Cómo ya comenté, hace ya tiempo,  no tuvimos la suerte de conseguir entradas para este concierto y, por motivos de salud, tampoco pude acercarme al hotel en el que se alojaba Bruce para,  conseguir alguna foto o algún disco autografíado.

El concierto de ayer tuvo alguna variación con respecto al del viernes: Comenzó con My Love Will not Let you Down. Hubo, además, tres  temas distintos a los del viernes 28:  Trapped, Johnny 99 y Ramrod.
